IE Beta 2 has been officially released by Microsoft to the masses. Lots of new (and long overdue features) such as tabbed browsing, better CSS and security. MS also released a useful Developer Toolbar that lets you do some advanced things design websites and such.

The JCXP forums have leaked new screenshots of the latest Internet Explorer build 5299, which is current the 2nd beta of the browser. IE7 is slated for release sometime in the upcoming year and judging by these screenshots it may be sooner than expected.
