For those of you running Firefox 1.5, you can use the browser’s integrated update engine to upgrade to version 1.5.0.1. Here are a list of changes/updates in this release:
- Improved stability.
- Improved support for Mac OS X.
- International Domain Name support for Iceland (.is) is now enabled.
- Fixes for several memory leaks.
- Several security enhancements.
The list mentions that several memory leaks are fixed and I can only hope that this is the case. Many people have reported of Firefox hogging 500MB or more of system memory. For the full list of security updates and bug fixes, check here.
