Live 8 Philadelphia

We left the apartment at 9am hoping to get a good spot for the opening act at noon. After walking 6 blocks we were confronted with a sea of human bodies, so we pressed on trying to get as close as possible. About 2 blocks to the stage, everyone was sitting on blankets and it was preventing people from walking, and these “blanket people” were obscenely rude. Most of the people on foot, weren’t looking to block peoples views, just get around the damn statue blocking the stage. Once the sun was in full effect, and we were stuck in the mass of people, we decided to head back to the area with the large monitors, alot less sweaty bodies.

We only ended up staying a few hours, before heading home to watch it on TV in the central air, with some cold beers. We did manage to snap a few photos however.
