Ninja Gaiden Review

Well, this was going to be my long awaiting review of Ninja Gaiden for the Xbox, but you know what, your all not getting it becuase this game is beyond fustrating. I mean like…….woah. Its looks gorgeous and contains some neat ninja moves and the sounds are superb, but it contains all the elements that annoy me to know end.
For example my most hated of all game design is the “save point”. Basically you can only save when they say its ok, which in Ninja Gaiden means its going to be a 3-5 minute run back to the boss, and fighting the same ninjas over again to get there. Yay!
Next up enemies and bosses so tough that you can barely get 5 steps without dying. Bosses should not be able to kill you in 2 hits (especially the Lvl 1 Boss!!) and have super blocking abilites, super moves, magical powers and when your “Red Dragon” sword manages to land a hit, only do 1 point of damage. My fingers started to hurt from all the button mashing ( you can only do like 2 basic moves, which vary, but its still like 2 moves )
And last up, the floating camera. I mean this camera is horrible, it always seems to be point at you so you can’t see the enemies walking towards you, and without fail the camera points to a wall whenever you walk into a new room, which I assume is so the bad guys have a fair chance to stab you in the back like 3 or 4 times before you can rotate the camera manually back again. Which is really cool, if I wanted to be a director. Which I don’t.
Well, I guess that was a review. Sorta. I highly recommend you borrow or rent this game before buying. Especially if you anger easily, have low patience, high blood pressure, are bi-polar or looking for something fun to play.
