Over the weekend a rave in Utah was broken up by 90 SWAT police, who pounced on the scene as if they were up against terrorists, not a dance party. The SWAT team showed up with nightscopes, automatic assault weapons, attack dogs, tear gas and helicopers for a legal event and began attacking and arresting the people there. I don’t know if you have seen most “ravers”, but I think that might be a tad overkill.
This is some real serious 1984, big brother stuff really starting to happen. This party was on private owned land, however due to the new laws from the horrible peice of trash called ‘The Patriot Act” the police no longer needs a warrant to enter your private property. Luckily people had video cameras filming the event and caught the absolute mayhem that ensused.
