Found this on google video, show you step by step how to make hip-hop beats using an Akai MPC-4000. The video is home shot and not the best quality, but if you can get past all that its actually kind of intresting if you’ve wondered how people make beats using samples.

Hello and thanks for the link, i was wondering, isnt it illegal to just take a record and then use a sample from it? is it legal to use it for another record?
I had the same problem like luther. The video kept on freezeing up. Can you recommend another tutorial that goes into detial. I bought the sample kings DVD but in didnt go into detial on most of the features. Im looking for a dvd that goes into detial on most of all the features on the mpc 4000 Thanks John
